Chiropractor Kara Crabill D.C., C.C.S.P.
As a multisport athlete for 4 years at Clinton Massie High School in Clarksville Ohio AND playing junior Olympic volleyball competitively year-round, I suffered multiple injuries that threatened to keep me benched and off the field.
From a young age, my hometown Chiropractor kept me playing the game I love by keeping my spine aligned and body strong which had helped with healing from injuries I had sustained. I fell in love with how the human body can repair itself and the power it has when everything is aligned and moving at its full potential.
I went on to play division II volleyball at Fairmont State University, where I pursued my interest in the human musculoskeletal system and graduated with my bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2015. I furthered my knowledge at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, where I earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2018. While at Palmer, I was elected class president and was a teaching assistant for multiple classes where I helped other students hone and develop their skills. During my years there, I focused on refining multiple Chiropractic techniques: Motion Palpation, Gonstead, Thompson, Diversified, and Activator Methods so that I would have several techniques to aid people with their ailments and injuries. While interning in the Palmer clinics, I was selected to work in the sport rehabilitation department where I learned to use my chiropractic skills to help athletes like me. Once I graduated from Palmer, I furthered this education by earning my Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certification license.
Before moving to the Medina OH area, I was a clinical director for a successful high-volume practice in Lancaster Ohio. During my time in Lancaster, I was a team chiropractor for a semi-pro basketball team, the Lancaster Thunder, for 2 seasons. I loved working courtside and being right there giving them the ability to play their best. My last year with them I was fortunate enough to be by their side as they went all the way to win their league championship! During that same time, I served on the Lancaster Biddy Ball advisory board and helped young kids learn how to play basketball and be team players. I loved serving the community in that way. I look forward to supporting the athletes, the residents of Medina OH, and surrounding communities in the same way!
My mission is to get EVERYONE feeling and functioning at their best. I have adjusted patients of less than 24 hours to 110 years, and I aspire to help everyone live their life to the fullest! When I’m not working, I strive to stay healthy by cooking and trying new recipes. I enjoy spending time with my significant other, Dan, and our dogs, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and playing volleyball.
